SentenceCounter publishes practical guides about sentence length, writing metrics and text utilities. This Editorial Policy explains how topics are selected, how articles are prepared and how corrections are handled.

Topic Selection

We use search-demand data, recurring tool questions and gaps found while testing the site to identify useful topics. Search volume helps prioritize what to explain; it does not justify publishing multiple pages that answer the same question with slightly different wording. Closely related keyword variants should be answered together when they share the same user intent.

Answer the Query First

A guide should give the practical answer near the beginning, then explain the assumptions, examples and exceptions. When the question depends on sentence length or word count, we show the calculation rather than presenting one number as a universal rule.

Tool Integration

Articles can link to or embed a relevant SentenceCounter tool when the reader benefits from checking their own text. The tool is part of the workflow, not a reason to hide the answer. Readers should be able to understand the main point even before they paste text into a counter.

Keyword Use

Primary and secondary keywords are used naturally in titles, introductions, headings and explanatory text. We avoid repetitive lists or hidden keyword blocks. Historical keywords from the former site are preserved for route mapping and research, but visible content should remain readable and relevant to the page.

Accuracy and Sources

For grammar, language or platform-specific claims, writers should distinguish general practice from formal rules and use authoritative sources when a claim could change. Browser-side tool behavior is tested directly. Fictional-language or stylized translators are clearly described as approximate or entertainment-focused when they do not perform professional translation.

AI-Assisted Work

Automation or AI may assist with outlining, drafting, formatting, keyword organization or quality checks. Content should still be reviewed for relevance, duplication, factual errors and misleading claims before publication. AI assistance does not remove responsibility for the finished page.

Corrections
